Back to Retirement!

I finished the socks for Marsel;

 they are now soaking in the crockpot to overdye those reinforced heels!

I have the huck lace bamboo shawl on the table to fringe!

And a new pair of socks are on the needles.............

I have the new warp for some more plastic bag totes ready to go on the loom today!  See the first bag?  Yes, it is good to buy souvenoirs when you see that their bags are 'just the right color' you have been looking for!  (And I have just the right color purple bag to go with it-I unashamedly mooched it off a newly presented gift-as in still in the recipients hands! )

  1. Well it's been almost as long since I have posted as it has been for me to read the blogs I follow! You have been a very busy lady!! Love the shawl and love the socks. I have only made one pair of sock but have 2 more started. Would really love to finishe them this winter GIG
    Nice to see you are doing well, I will more attentive in following my blogs :)

  2. Finally -- some purple bags -- woo hoo! :)

    Glad you are back to the slow-paced and sedentary retirement-life (ha ha)!

  3. You sure are a busy lady. Love the socks. What did you use to reinforce the heel?

    Looks like you had a great vacation. Wonderful pictures.

  4. I love the color of the socks....even with the contrasting heel. I'm sure the overdyed version will be great too.

    Pretty funny that the color of the bag influences your purchasing decision!! A purple tote will be lovely though!

Thanks for taking the time to let me know you stopped by to read my blog! If you can't get the blog to accept a comment-email me! If you don't have a blog yourself, use my email so I can then email you back-I love to respond to those who leave comments! Thanks!

I had so much fun making a coaster from the Diamond Dotz kit.  A very relaxing way to spend an hour! I also whipped up another Shop Hop Bloc...
