The Lifesaver cactus sure has enjoyed the neglect of the last two weeks because it is covered in blooms! I actually made it out to the front porch this afternoon and sat and enjoyed the sounds of my yard for a bit. It's hard work being alive.

It really is hard sometimes, isn't it. This week has been trying for me too. I've spent too much time laying about and mulling over the future and how I am going to adjust to life when I can't continue with all the things that get me up in the morning. I'm starting to see diminishing capabilities and I don't like it.
