SOCKS ON SUNDAY

The pair of socks I started on my way to NY is a done deal!
This yarn is Knit picks Static in Cabot Cove.
It was an easy match for this pair.
It's going into the gift pile for now.

And I am still loving these dishcloths!
I can use every bit of the yarn from 1 skein to make a pair.
I like that I can make a pair in an evening, too!

  2. Great socks! I was just eyeing a few skeins of static in my stash, but ultimately took another route.

  3. I could have used those socks at our concert last night. 60 degrees when we finally called it done, the wind chill added to make it feel much lower than 60. Lovely socks, dishcloths, piecing, and weaving!!!

  4. Congrats on the finishes! The socks look great. Those look like very handy washcloths. You can't have too many of the really good scrubby ones.

  5. Nothing like dish cloths for utility and a sense of accomplishment.

  6. Perfect socks! I finished the toe of the first sock in a pair this morning in Sunday School. Yes, I knit in Sunday School. Since I had my stroke, for some reason I concentrate much better if my hands are busy.
The dishcloths are great. I gave so many away when we were in Spokane this summer. I almost couldn't make them fast enough. :-)
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy
