Go SU !

I am knitting away on this pair of socks that are Syracuse Orangeman colored for my Seattle son.
This pair of socks is taking longer than usual because he wears a size 16 shoe.
That is a lot of foot!
He loves my socks and I love him so it is a very worthwhile knit!
(Opal yarn on size 1 needles over 72 stitches)

  4. If mothers were paid by the inch for the collective length of their offsprings' feet, you would be a rich woman! Lol! Love those socks, and it will be nice to picture Jared wearing them. :)

  5. Size 16?? So you need two 100 gram skeins to knit him socks? It is a good thing he is related to you, eh? ;)

  6. wow, I had to hunt around online to even find 16 - to convert to european sizes! most of them end at 15... a lot of "mindless" knitting to do:) luckily the biggest size in my family is 14, but on the other hand those long feet make perfect tv knitting....

I did sew the rows together and cut the borders so I could sew them.  I didn't make too many mistakes (the brain is still very slow! lol...
