We almost gave up on this redbud tree but it has finally produced some buds! Pitiful, yes, but it is alive and so we will keep watering it! (I thought we were watering a dead stick!)

And Bill is excited to see that he has a baby pineapple growing-you can see the damage from the frosts but it is producing in spite of it-The plant is about 2 ' tall and the other 5 are not mature enough to produce yet, but this success helps to keep caring for them!
Exciting!!!
ReplyDeleteI had to shift gears a bit, though, because when I saw your post title on Google Reader, my brain jumped to conclusions and read it as referring to two yards of new goodies, as in fabric! :)
I meant to tell you we loved the house and what you are doing and enjoyed the tour of the yard and plants--would have been better if you and Bill had been home. Sharon
ReplyDeleteI can see why you thought it was a dead stick!
ReplyDeleteI used to threaten our apple trees: fruit or be removed - they fruited!!
