Friends and Tiles

We went out to lunch today with friends from NY...........we went to our fav place, Corky Bells.  It was way too cold to sit outside and eat but the food and conversation were warm inside!
We returned home to find this going on today!  It really perks up the pool area!
He ran the plumbing today and then started the tile.  This week should have a ton of progress to report.
This afternoon I spent a few hours in the sewing room and finished Mom's quilt top and then loaded her table runner and quilted that ,too.  I have a backlog of items lined up for the quilting frame....

  2. How lovely to be with friends and sharing a meal.

Your quilting looks nice - I don't know what I'm going to do when I reach that point!! I believe we are going to attempt to do it by hand!

  3. The pool looks so pretty -- funny how two rows of tile can dress it up so much.

The quilt/runner and the quilting are all lovely!

  4. Loved our visit with you and Bill. I can't get over all you have done on the house--good job. Tell Bill I've got his credit card number from the picture and am busy buying up all the yarn I can find--just kidding Bill.

  5. So do you have a "regular" table just for you all at Corky Bell's now?

I thought when you said, "We came home and found this..." there would be a picture of the workermans having a nap in the yard.

Tell your Mom the quilt and runner turned out beautiful and such beautiful quilts ease the disappointment of her not loving to knit socks.
