I use this little tool, called a hump jumper,
when I have to hem jeans.
The abrupt thickness of the side seams causes the machine to skip stitches
if you don't use this tool.
A handy way to make a mundane but frustrating job
much easier!
I can't find mine! I need to get another. We call them jean-a-ma-jigs.
ReplyDeleteWho knew this existed?
ReplyDeleteNever heard of this before!
ReplyDeleteMine is plastic and adjusts to different thicknesses. I often forget to use it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny name. LOL
ReplyDeleteI saw a tutorial on hemming jeans that really made it seem easy (and keeping that bottom edging). Maybe I need to get myself a hump jumper! LOL
