A QUICKER DOILY

I was still pretty exhausted from the long and busy day at the quilt show so I did a lot of this from bed.  It finished at 15" across.  I used #10 cotton and a #7 hook.
The pattern is called Close Circle from Fine Art Crochet.

I have a trip to town first thing today, unfortunately.
Why did I schedule an appt early on a Monday morning?!

  1. Another gorgeous doily! That one reminds me of the ones my great grandmother used to make.

  2. Beautiful doily as was the roses and shells. I like to knit doilies, but I haven’t done one in years.

  3. Beautiful.

I hate when the only appt. I can get is early. UGH! (On the other hand, middle of the day appts. ruin the WHOLE day. Sooooo...... I guess there is a benefit to just "getting it over with".

  4. What a pretty doily. I hope your appointment went well. I don't like early appointments either since I often don't sleep well until early morning, but as dee said, there's a benefit to getting it over with.
