A BIT OF YARN

I just began this pair of socks and they are zooming along--the gradation of the blues just lead me along!
I also had the urge to begin this shawl;  the pattern is easily memorized and it is so rhythmic--the twist of the hook
and a soft yarn in the fingers is very calming.
In fact, it is a big part of how I define relaxation!

  1. Nice! The shades of blue grab my attention, of course. :) -Marsel

  2. Lovely projects! I'm thinking of a brownish shawl...but knit, not crochet.

  3. The socks are so pretty. I've always liked soft gradients like that. I should make a shawl for the hospital with that same stitch. I don't know why I never think of it. I like the colors in that yarn too! :-)

  4. The sock yarn looks a lot like a Zauberball pair I made for Steve. Happy knitting (and crocheting).

I almost finished the girls' kit at quilting group yesterday.   Isn't it sweet?  The fabrics coordinate so nicely,  even if I am not...
