The Farrago Crochet Shawl is off the hook and ready to comfort my shoulders!
I used up both cakes of Mandala yarn for a shawl that worked out to 80" wide and 40" long at the center back. This yarn is a DK weight acrylic yarn which is very soft and a delight to work with!
Very earthy and rich colors! Pretty. -Marsel
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! Acrylic always gets a bad rap but it's the best thing for comfy shawls that see a lot of wear. I've got an ugly old Lion Brand Homespun shawl that has become my security blanket over the years. It's the first thing I unpack when it gets chilly. I love that I can just toss it in the wash and not fuss about blocking.
ReplyDeleteLovely finish. The Mandala yarn really adds interest. I've never gotten in the habit of wearing shawls... must see what I have that might be warm enough to use (from two or three shawls I currently own but didn't make.) Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. That will feel wonderful when the temps drop!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job!
