A DAY IN DECEMBER

I sewed the last two flannel 'frames' of the NICU blankets
and pinned the layers together before I had to quit for the day...
I blocked the latest 'snowflake' and this one is denser and larger.
I think I like the more delicate ones better.
The reason for the partial day at home--a grandson's birthday!

  1. Happy birthday to the Grand! We're going to have one big birthday on the 30th for all the December babies this year. We are six all together now. Even son in Michigan is coming down. I can't wait. I've never even met the latest Grand.

  2. Well, that is a wonderful reason to quit for the day! Nothing is more fun than the grands.
Your snowflake is beautiful and great job on the NICU quilts too!
    Blessings and love,
    Betsy

  3. Nice work on the NICU blankets; they will definitely be appreciated and loved. Grandkids are fun, aren't they?

  4. Love the blocks!!! I have saved them and will try to start mine in 2024. But I think I will upsize to 6" blocks. LOL. And the blankets are adorable. The shawl, oooohhh, so lovely. And Happy Birthday to the little guy!
