Today is decompression day.....
all family have made it home safely.
all family have made it home safely.
I will knit to finish the LeEnveloppe for my oldest granddaughter....
......and I will work at the frame to finish quilting the Summer Blooms lap quilt.
When I am ready to do some sitting, I will work on the 10 half motifs for the Mystical Lanterns.
I am hitting the halfway mark on the fingerless mitts.
Decompression Day - an apt phrase for the day after all the company returns home and the house feels empty for a bit.
ReplyDeleteEverything is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI admire your gumption. I am still wiped out. It's going to be another do nothing day here.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of great projects for decompression day!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot of lovely projects on the go!! You should probably also put your feet up for a while too!! xx
ReplyDeleteWe are trying to get Zach to the train before we get hit with a snow event. I wish my kids just lived with me still. Isn' t that dumb? They are adults. I am so joyful that Zach is nearby and we visit weekly either here or there. This is what we hoped for when he lived far away in Mexico. Our daughter seems very happy right now, and that's making us happy. I have fun knitting to resume once we get home from the train
ReplyDeleteMy goodness you have lots on the go, have fun with all your projects.
