A pair of pumpkins is better than one!
And I think I will be making several more before I am done!
These are done on #6 needles with worsted weight yarn.
While the little guy throws 'big sticks' into the pond,
I sit on the golf cart and knit and give verbal acclamation!
I was able to finish one sock of the Regia Pairfect yarn.
This is a men's size 10 1/2 with fingering on a #1 needle.
Your pumpkins look better than the sad little real ones I have here. They are so ugly the Grands didn't even want to take them home.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh . . . aren't those little pumpkins just the cutest!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a mighty big stick for a very little boy!!! LOL
Now I really must step up my game. I have the pattern, just need to root out some orange yarn, which I KNOW I have, somewhere, maybe.
ReplyDeleteYou'll have a pumpkin patch in no time.
ReplyDeleteThe sock looks fantastic. I need to look for that PAIRfect colorway.
The men in your life wear shortie socks? Lucky you!!! None of mine will.
ReplyDeleteAw, that little guy is awfully cute -- even cuter than the pumpkins!
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkins are so neat — love that they’re quite elegant and not cutesie! Little boy plus big old stick...there’s just something right about that. When we took the bushes out of our front yard, we all enjoyed reminiscing about David and the hours he spent with his “booming stick!” ❤️ The socks look great! That yarn makes a nice-looking guy-sock...perfect.
ReplyDeleteYour socks make me want to cast on socks on tiny needles -
ReplyDeleteI have the yarn-
I love your pumpkins
Those pumpkins are super cute! I love the sock though. Really pretty yarn!
ReplyDeleteI think you have to at least have three, doesn't everything look better in odd numbers? They are adorable. So is the little one throwing sticks into the pond.
