Tranquility

Now this is a sight to feast your eyes on;
  our pond is full and the water lilies are making a come back!

The pineapple ripened-the one we grew ourselves!
Might I say, it was beyond superb!
And new yarn on the needles-a revisit to the Silver Leaves Shawl!

  2. A homegrown pineapple must have a divine flavor - picked when ripe and juicy. Enjoy!

  3. I noticed yesterday that the water lilies in the town koi pond are still blooming. I was wondering if it was late for them to do that but it has been warm. I still have my houseplants on the deck. No freeze in sight yet but those leaves are really falling now.

  5. How cool that you grew and ate a pineapple. That is just so exotic. As Kathy says, we are having quite a cold snap. At least it's good for wearing shawls!
