HOME SWEET GNOME!

Sunrise was very colorful yesterday;  this is looking out my old bedroom window, over the road, neighbors and to the river.  A nice view first thing in the morning when I woke up!
I bought Mom this kit to make gnomes back in October for her birthday;  she made four of the five and saved the fifth for me to knit-I hope to have it done in a few days!
They stand about 10' tall!  So handsome!
I also finished the hat I worked on while in flight on Tuesday-I made this one with a smaller needle for a kid's size.  I've started another and will see how it looks with a K1P1 rib.

  2. That's a beautiful view and I think hard to leave. Your Mom did a great job with the gnomes. She's super fast!!! THe hat is great too. I'm making mittens. I'm so behind. I have so many things I want to make next year and not nearly enough time.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  3. The gnomes are adorable!! What pattern is it? And the snow looks beautiful at your end, not mine. LOL!!! Merry Christmas! I am putting some leftover sock/DK yarns in the mail to your home soon. I am trying to get rid of the bits, are you still adding to your blanket?

I know, I make so many hats but I hate to wear them--only in a blizzard will you find me wearing one since I got glasses--20+ years ago! lol...
