WE DID IT!
Might I mention, that traffic was a bit crazy for us on our 8 hour trip! We haven't seen this many cars all of 2022 as we have seen while travelling! Give me podunk any day! lol After Atlanta, which is what we were approaching in this photo, we still had an hour and some until we arrived at daughter's home but we did it! Hugs abound amidst laughter and smiles. It is good to be here!

Atlanta is always a crap shoot! We once were going through on our way home from Spring Break and a huge boat had slipped off it's transport and blocked 4 of the five lanes of traffic south side of the city. Oy!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Every time I have to drive back to Dave's families, I get anxiety. I'm so enjoying not having traffic out here!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so glad you made it safely. How fun to be with your family again after so long. We're taking off in a couple of hours. I'll be glad to arrive too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Denver traffic always makes me anxious when I visit my sister.
ReplyDeleteNice to know you made it safely - enjoy your visit!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time.
ReplyDeleteIt's like that for us when we travel. We are so used to living in the middle of nowhere that traffic is always an unpleasant surprise. And we are two people that commuted the Capital Beltway for 20 years to work. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your visit!
