Amaryllis

April brings to bloom the amaryllis,
such large and grand flowers!
This would make a lovely painting, don't you think?!

  1. I forget how far ahead of us you are at this time of year — our azaleas are just now blooming, and my amaryllis are still merely an inch or two of promising foliage! Fun to see what’s blooming for you!

  2. Yes, it would make a nice painting, especially with the shadows.

  3. Yes, indeed. You should get right on that. ;-) Actually, you should wait until a very nasty day weather wise and then paint it to remind yourself of the beautiful days.

  4. That would make a lovely painting!
We have snow on the ground. Can't even imagine flowers coming out of the ground.

  5. I just saw your comment on Mere's blog, and I wanted to share that I have to limit what's in my blog for the exact same reason. So unfair, isn't it? I tried to block her access to my blog, but it didn't work.

  6. SO beautiful. I am glad you had some pool time, we are almost there but the water is still a bit chilly for me. Thank you for your comment, I completely understand your situation, or at least I think I do!

COLD FOR CHRISTMAS!

Yup, a cold snap already which I hate for my flowers' sakes  but the fire sure makes a good consolation!
