Two more hats-these are children's sizes with a shorter crown
so you don't have to turn up the hem on these!
And then I cast on another kind of project; a pumpkin!
It was supposed to be this side out but the ribs I worked so hard to make
didn't show up on the tight fabric!
So I turned it inside out and now it has ribs!
I knit a stem on the Embellish-Knit ; how fitting for use on a completely machine knit pumpkin!
And here we have the completed pumpkin-the first of a family of gourds!

ah, you're preparing for autumn:) I should really do a pumpkin or two myself - to use up the very orange yarn I spun a while back (it was supposed to be yellow with red, but the drafting blended it a bit too well:). you could always pull a piece of yarn through the knit stitches, if you wanted it to draw in a bit more?

That pumpkin is so cute! Another idea is to do it in wool that is feltable and then felt it in the washing machine. that would be great too!

I have enough as it is, but then that didn't stop me from picking up three more small ceramic ones. At the Dollar Store they were only a $1.00 each!! They practically paid me to take them.
