Yesterday was our first fire of the season!
I enjoyed the slow and warm waking up hour!
It was warm soon enough and I enjoyed working on the lathe.
The honey dipper is sanded, finished and removed now!
This one will go to a friend who is a beekeeper!
My rendition of poinsettias in watercolor on another card.
The afghan is waiting for the next lesson!
It was a very enjoyable border this time!
The afghan is now 48" square.
Lovely things! Looking forward to show and tell in person!
ReplyDeleteI've been watching Netflix's fake fireplace to pretend that I am warm...lol. That afghan is just so beautiful. It looks like a quilt or some mosaic knitting. I had no idea crochet could do those kinds of color changes.
ReplyDeleteLovely poinsettias! Doing cards that way looks fun. I am so happy I am done with mine for the year although I may try something watercolory for the Grands just for fun.
Oooh, the afghan is a beauty! I love the soft colors. Great job on the poinsettias. Like Deb, I watch the fireplace video and love hearing the pops and cracks from the burning wood.
ReplyDeleteI almost bought some poinsettias at the store today, but they were really big pots. I think I'd like a smaller one so I will wait.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful finishes and progress today. And that fire does look inviting!
ReplyDeletePretty beekeeper gift. And that mosaic blanket is so pretty. I have our electric fireplace on right now. It's amazing how much heat it puts out.

Betsy
