NorthEasterly!

Not the direction of the wind but rather the name of this pattern
for a  sock yarn blanket!
Mine is now completed at 32" wide and 48" long;
made from doubled strands of my sock yarn stash
on #7 needles.
The directions have you knitting each of the rows pointing up
but I alternated the direction of the knitted strips-
we are knitters; we do it our way!
I sure tamed my leftover sock yarn stash!
