Weary

Bill is home-he is sore and back with a wound vac on his elbo
and 3xday I administer antibiotic infusions
but he is home!
Consequently, I ran out of gas today-
I have been doing the work of 2 people keeping things running smoothly for the last 10 weeks
and it has caught up with me!
(yes, Bill is ready to be well, too, but this is my blog so you are going to hear me droop...)
And then these arrived from my youngest son and family;
what a bouquet of love....
they are right next to my bed and then going to be moved to wherever I am all day!

  2. Oh, dear. What an ordeal you've been through. I am so sorry. I've been pretty much in bed from exhaustion since the wedding so I can't even imagine how you must be feeling with little ones to take care of. We just don't bounce back like we did when we were young.

  5. I sure hope you can get some rest now and enjoy the gorgeous flowers. I would carry them around to wherever I am all day too!

  6. OH Im sending you a huge hug. i would have been a wound nurse if I changed careers. I love a good wound healing up beautifully. Sorry, thats not to say I want anyone to have a wound. Yeah, I usually fall apart as soon as Fireman improves. The year of his back surgery, I really lost it bad after he finally went back to work. It was as if my mind knew I had to hang in there, and then I just fell apart. Its ok! I'll pray for you

  8. Care-taking is absolutely exhausting. I think it's easier to be the sick one than the care-taker. And 10 weeks is a very long time. Hang in there. This too will pass.

AHHH, SOCKS ON THE NEEDLES!

 The new yarn is pleasant to work with--enjoy as soft as KnitPicks Stroll but not as rough as LionBrand's sock yarn.  I do love the colo...
