Remember this sweater?
It's history.
I ripped it out and then wound all of the yarn into cakes...
and did a test swatch so I could begin to (knit the back!
And today I will knit the front!
(There is no quilting today-we had to change our day until Wednesday this week.)
So I am going to knit up a storm!
I want a sleek, simple v-neck pullover in this sock yarn.
That's a really cool swatch gauge. I've never seen one like that.

ReplyDeleteWhat was wrong with the original sweater? Did it not fit well, because it sure is pretty.
Sad to see all that work go, but there's no point hanging onto it if it's not working for you!
ReplyDeleteThat would have been painful to rip out but if you wouldn't wear it there was no sense in wasting the yarn. I can't believe how fast you can knit a sweater with a knitting machine. And that gauge tool is really neat. I just use a ruler which is awkward at times.
