SOCK PREP SUNDAY

I laid out the new yarn hank on the winder...
This was the skein, for your rememberance.
Now it looks like this--so sweetly colored
and callling for me to knit with it!
The designer and info on the label.
I'm almost done with the second blue sock
and had hoped to post it finished here but it didn't happen!

  1. What is a hank winder - I see the end results ... but um why? ( this is all so cool and new to me!)

  2. I have a lot of that brand of yarn. It knits up so nicely.

  5. that is such a pretty color. I wound a hank of yarn yesterday for a new pair of socks. I love my swift. It makes winding so much easier. I started the cuff this morning in Sunday School and plan to make a pair of Monkey socks for a Christmas gift.
