SHOPPING TRIP

While at JoAnns yesterday, I found the right fabric for the outer border for the mini petals,
and even found a nice fabric for the backing!
Look what we saw at a park recently....it is about 18' long-what's left of it.  Google pic says it is a whip snake skeleton!
 Who knew they had ribs!?!
And just so I don't leave you with a snake thought--here is one of the many magnolia blooms that our tree is presenting!
Oh, if only you could scratch and sniff!

  1. Perfect fabric! I love those waves. I've never seen a snake skeleton irl. Isn't it fascinating. The magnolia is lovely. I don't think I've ever been close enough to a bloom to know that they have a scent.

  2. Snake skeletons almost don't look real!
Love the magnolia of course, and the fabric you got. I've been on a bit of a fabric buying spree which is silly because I don't have any time to sew!

  3. I didn't know snakes had ribs either. Look at them all! Beautiful fabric and perfect for that quilt top. That is a gorgeous magnolia blossom, I sure wish we had smelling buttons on here.
