My youngest son passed on these cement urns
and I knew right where I wanted them! I've wanted some front door topiary for a very long time! (decades!)
As I backed up for another picture, little miss Lena was cooing and chirping for a belly rub!
She does such a good job conversing!
And yes, she got a good rub, scratch and massage!
She thought there might be more at the end of the sidewalk....
but there wasn't!
Nyki helped me make some granny squares before bed last night!
I didn't do any sewing but I did pull out some fabric for some pillows to go on the new furniture that comes soon!
The topiary is lovely as is the front of your home. It looks so cozy and like it's a friendly place to stop by and visit. I'm putting the border on Piper's blanket now but with only an hour or so in the evenings to work on it, it's taking awhile. I'm going to take my mittens on the plan with me to work on and I'll buy a few skeins of yarn to have for the drive home. I do have plenty of yarn here, but no room in my carry-on. I'll have plenty of room in the truck.
ReplyDeleteLena is a sweetie. Mom's cat Maple is very verbal too. She's constantly "talking" to us. Lets me play and love on a cat without the responsibility or the fur at our house for Piper.
Blessings,
Betsy
Those babies are just adorable! Love the topiary, I had some at a house 2 homes ago, but they didn't survive for too long, I am bad at keeping green things alive. LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour front door is very classy now!! The closest I can get to my kitties is with the flea comb which they love. My allergies don't let me pet them which is sad but considering the life they had before I don't suppose they mind as long as they get regular meals...lol.
ReplyDeleteHow fun!!! Are the topiaries live or artificial? (Zoomed in but can’t tell!) Cute little Lena...
ReplyDeleteThe front of you house looks wonderful, so glad you had fun with your new topiaries.
