A T-SHIRT QUILT ON THE FRAME

A friend from Quilt Group has just completed
her first t-shirt quilt!
I'm quilting it for her;  and I will be finishing it today!
She chose a large and loose panto which made quick work of this 70' x 80" quilt.  I can't wait to see her face when she gets her first look at it so close to the finish line!
I hope this is just the first of many quilts for her!

  2. That is amazing! I've heard of tee shirt quilts but I'd never seen one in action before. An ex girlfriend of a nephew asked about making her one ages ago and I'm glad she never brought it up again. That looks like a lot of work.

  3. I've heard of t-shirt quilts as a way to use up t-shirts, but the colors in the quilt look like the t-s were all new and not faded from time and many washes. Nice of you to quilt it for her.

  4. Cool! Dave and I have a bunch of stuff to bring from his Mom's place - and it includes a pile of his old rock t-shirts from when he was a teen. I plan to make him a quilt out of them
