Bow tie is off the frame and waiting for its binding.
I'm hoping to get to it in the next few days!
While anywhere in the front yard
you are caressed by the heady jasmine aroma!
It is beyond wonderful!
We visited the lake, enjoying the journey on the dock.
That's a ton of binding! Love the scent of jasmine.
ReplyDeleteYour bow tie quilt is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhhhhhh...jasmine. There is no mistaking that fragrance. It's one of my favorite things about spring.
That quilt is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI have a Jasmine candle burning this morning: it's heavenly.
ReplyDeleteDo you hand sew the binding or do it all by machine? I don't mind sewing the binding on, but dread the hand-tacking. I'm not precise enough to do both sides on the machine.
The quilting really changes the look of that!
ReplyDeleteI had a plant like that - sadly, I killed it, but it smelled amazing while it was alive.
Oh dear. Blooming jasmine.....my plant weakness. I once was at a hotel that had it on the grounds. I walkedaround at night with my nose in those plants. Oh it was heavenly
ReplyDeleteThis post sounds/looks like the makings of a novel set in a sultry Southern summer...a quilt with a family story, the heady scent of jasmine, and sweaty little boys that are happy to be let loose to run around in the relative cool of the evening...
