I cut out a bunch of golden blocks for a honeycomb--
this lap quilt will be for a friend who is a beekeeper!
The first of the bands from Dorian make itself known.
Turn up the volume-you can hear the wind/driving rain.
Yup, a cold snap already which I hate for my flowers' sakes but the fire sure makes a good consolation!
I love the honeycomb quilt. How cute is that?
ReplyDeleteWow...that is some rain you're getting. I hope Dorian plays nice and stays out in the ocean. Those pix from the Bahamas are horrific. Araignee
Love the honeycomb quilt - very clever! Dorian is nasty - hope you and yours can stay safe.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is EVERYTHING! I love it! Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteLove your honeycomb!
ReplyDeleteThat video looks a little like the storm we got here last night... of course, ours only lasted about 10 minutes before moving on!
Love those perfect honey colors! That looks like a complicated pattern. Stay safe, warm, and dry!
ReplyDeleteThat will be a perfect quilt for your friend. It looks just like honey! I hope that's the worst of Dorian that you get. Praying for you my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
What a fun quilt for a beekeeper!
ReplyDeleteWow, that wind and rain is stout even though it’s pretty mild compared to what it could have been — can’t imagine being in the worst of it, especially on an island. :(
ReplyDeleteThe honeycomb quilt is very fun!
