The trees are just starting to show a bit of color here but it's still hot and miserable. It's so dry I'm starting to worry about fires. Our woodpiles are a tinderbox.

ReplyDeleteOur leaves are just starting to show colour. The height of colour really hits in the next week or two.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely - maples are hard to find in this area, but I have some old leaves pressed in a dictionary. Aspen are turning in the mountains and a few in the valley, too.
ReplyDeleteWe could use a frost but I don't want one! The mosquitoes are awful and threat of EEE is kind of an issue. The frost ought to kill them. The flies were not at the barn today despite the humidity and fog and heat. So at least the flies have calmed down there. The poor horses, they are tortured even with fly masks in summer. BUT i love your yarn
