APPRECIATION FOR CREATING

I worked on the last of the pinwheels and finished the top row to complete this FL Souvenir Quilt top!  It is 45" by 58";  I do not have fabric for the backing so this will have to go in the pile to wait for its turn at the quilting frame.

We had our usual T-storm in the afternoon--the driveway looked like it was smoking as the rain wound down and the sun came back out---very cool.
During the rain, I made a pair of these minimal mitts for a friend who has a circulation problem giving her cold hands.
 KnitPicks Stroll yarn.

  1. I was going to ask you what that pattern was for the mitts you sent me. I love them and have a lot of leftover handspun that should be enough for a pair. They are very handy to just pop into your pocket when you are really not sure about the weather which is all the time around here with the bay winds. It can be hot here and chilly down there and it's just a few blocks away.

  4. I think that quilt top is one of my favorites that I've EVER seen. The colors just work perfectly together.
The mitts are great. I should make Dennis a pair for when he's working on the computer this winter. His hands always get cold.
    Blessings and hugs,

COLD FOR CHRISTMAS!

Yup, a cold snap already which I hate for my flowers' sakes  but the fire sure makes a good consolation!
