Playing Around

I added the sashing and sewed the blocks together for a table runner.  I have the VanGogh quilt still on the frame so I can't finish it but I hope to remedy that today!
 I did get to play with the lathe--I am working with a piece of Camphor and the whole garage smells like a Vicks bottle! lol  I'm not sure what shape this will end up but I am getting the hang of the lathe in the meantime.  It's a ton of fun!

    I love the smell of Vicks! I use it for everything that ails you.

    I have three big camphor trees in my yard, I love them and how fast they grow. Enjoy all your projects.

    That's a beautiful table runner with such pretty delicate colors.
    The lathe looks so big! I also love the smell of Vicks. I can't imagine a wood that smells like it. :-)
