A new sock is on the needles; this in Muse, Endurance Speckle.
I am knitting a vanilla sock on 2mm needles over 64 stitches.
The prompt for yesterday was EXTINCT;
I so enjoy my own Pileated Woodpecker,
I knew I wanted to paint a similar bird
that is now gone from N. America.
When I took the gift box of socks to giveaway this weekend my kids preferred the Knit Picks socks to any other brand. They took the softest ones over the more pricey sock yarns.
ReplyDeleteI love your extinct. I've got a lot of catching up to do. I've been thinking about what I want to draw. Now I just need to sit down and do it.
That's a pretty color yarn for your new socks. The ones for our grandson are now finished and virtually flew off the needles once I realized I wasn't going to have enough yarn and used a different color for the heels. I only had about 2 yards left when I finished them.
ReplyDeleteYour "extinct" is fantastic. Love the way you drew it.
Blessings,
Betsy
Cool bird!
ReplyDeleteVanilla socks are fun to knit: actually, that’s the only kind of socks I knit anymore.
