A Little Behind!

I haven't been home for two days....
How can the house get so cluttered and dingy in so short a time?!
After doing the floors and dishes and laundry,
I rewarded myself with some piecing time!
I saw the final clue to the mystery winter QAL for a QOV quilt,
put up my pieces and then rearranged them please my idea of this quilt!
Now that the fun is done for the day,
I am conquering piles like this,
 and this,
I did put one pillow cover out!
The outside is almost done--see the pile of boxes?
Yeah, that's what I have to go and do now--some wrapping!
I am home  today until church and then home all day tomorrow!  Shhhhh!

  1. OMG. Look at the size of your Christmas cactuses!!!!! My biggest one is probably only half that size!

  2. Being behind on the QAL was a good thing. I'd like to rearrange all the blocks, but that's not going to happen. I like your new arrangement.

  3. There is just not enough time in the day at this time of year-even worse, it gets dark so early. I can't function after dark anymore.

  4. Such a busy day ahead of you. I hope you got it all done! Those cactuses are huge!

  5. The bins and boxes abound at our house this year — not exactly my favorite arrangement, but certainly an adventure! Thankful for my one orderly room with a decorated Christmas tree! :) Nice to see your Christmas cactuses putting on their show at the proper time...they are very pretty.
