Halfway!

I forced myself to work on the quilt loaded on the frame!
Forced myself because I know the quilt lines needed to be specific
and not a panto this time.
A pantograph is fast,
free motion takes a lot more time and thinking!
When I stitched a misplaced design one too many times,
I gave up and turned to the machine knit
 top-down V-neck sweater for Bill.
It went smoothly and without disaster.
(front and back are finished)

So today I will finish up both of these projects....
as soon as I'm back from a routine doctor appointment !
That trip sure will cut into the creativity time!

  1. I have to be in the right frame of mind to do any free motion quilting. All it takes is one slip of the hand to make a mess. Picking it out is no fun, that's for sure.

  2. Those are sweet little flowers in the centre of the blocks!

  3. The little quilted flower design is so pretty.

I hate when "real life" creeps into my crafting time. LOL Hope all goes well at the doctor.

  4. Quilting always fascinates me. Maybe because I'm so bad at it. :-) The sweater is looking great too. Too bad the doctors visit has to take place and take time away. I'm stuck inside today because of snow but that's fine with me. More time to knit!
    Blessings,

  6. You are one talented lady! I swear you must quilt with one hand and knit with the other.
