A CAST ON!

I started a new top-down sweater;  it is done in DK cotton in navy and the coral is a cotton/linen blend.
I am working on #6 needles.
The directions are very exact which I appreciate
and the shaping of the sweater is what I have been looking for!
I just might rip out a recent t-shirt sweater
to make with this pattern instead!
I can because I am a knitter! lol

  5. I love it! I get a lot of use out of my short sleeved colorwork sweaters up here. They work so well under a coat. They keep you warm but you don't get the bulk.

  6. That's a pretty pattern.

Isn't that the great thing about knitting vs. sewing. Once you cut out a pattern, your options for change are limited. Knitting is a bit more forgiving.

  7. That is such a pretty sweater and the colors you've chosen will make it so beautifully. I wish I had the body shape to wear a nice sweater like that.
