Begin with a pile of 7" squares of three dark and 3 light fabrics,
Sew them into a simple 4-patch.
Cut it apart.
Rearrange it.
Sew it together again and you have a quilt block! I bought this kit from the Daytona Beach Quilt show last week and find it is the perfect project to have for piecing while I work a bit each day on the quilting frame queue! (This pattern is called Presto Change-O pattern from MK Quilts of Palm Beach, FL)
That’s a really fun pattern!
ReplyDeleteLovely fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThat is a brilliant pattern! I can see it would be fun to quilt those light squares. It's the perfect place for something fancy.
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks! Have fun making any rearranging them.
ReplyDeleteThey are great blocks, but I already know I would struggle with rearranging them. I just don't seem to have the coordination to be able to "see" it in my head to make happen on the table. You have a gift my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessiings and love,
Betsy
Ohhh those are pretty fabrics - and a super great block to show them off!
ReplyDeleteNice! I can't wait to see the finished quilt. Love those colors.
ReplyDeleteThat pattern has been in my queue for a while!
