BLAST OFF!

Last year's All Florida Shop Hop quilt is on the frame!
And the quilting has begun.
 A sweet little leaf and flower panto is used.
I also stitched up two new pillows for the family room;
 made from cotton canvas, 18" pillow forms.
See-even in the daytime, these amaryllis are stunning!  We have several large clumps of them and they sure brighten up the yard!

  1. Cute quilt and I like your pillows. I remember my MIL who lived-in Norfolk, VA had some Amaryllis planted in various beds. They are lovely.

  2. I love that quilt! It reminds me of the post cards my grandmother used to send when she went to Orlando to visit my step-grandfather's sister every year. She would also bring us a bushel of oranges and a jar of Spanish moss for some reason. Those oranges were delicious but that moss was pretty stinky.

  3. The quilt is fabulous. I agree with Debbie, it does remind me of a post card from the 50's & 60's.

  5. What fun you've been having!!! We have a shop hop going on here, but I definitely don't need things! I do need to take my Amara in for a spa treatment, but hate to be parted. Love the skirt fabric!!!

  6. So neat to see Amaryllis growing in the "wild". It's only ever in pots here

I almost finished the girls' kit at quilting group yesterday.   Isn't it sweet?  The fabrics coordinate so nicely,  even if I am not...
