A Date!

 The sunshine sets off the beautiful blooms on the ground orchids--it is thriving!
 Yesterday, Bill and I enjoyed a very leisurely lunch on the river this afternoon--
how nice to enjoy each other's company, the perfect weather and the beauty of the river.
 Do you see what's on the fallen tree?
 He wanted to enjoy the sunshine, too!  (a three year old gator)
 We watched the wildlife on the river and even the odd boat or two;
there was even a group (fleet? ) of four KrisKrafts--they were beauties!
 Once home,  I tackled the last touches on the knitting machine for this sweater.
I have just tacked the critical points to help seam it up.
I hope to have this finished by the end of today--
well, at least all seamed up so I can do the bit of garter around the neckline.

  1. At least we don't have to worry about gators on our fallen trees...lol, but we did see a deer standing up on one of them the other day.

  2. Looks like a wonderful day on the river!
    I kinda wish we had gators here... we don't have any lizards.
    We've got salamanders, but you really have to go looking for them.

  3. It sounds like a wonderful day. We have two gators at the bridge behind my house. One is about 3 feet the other a bit bigger. Still I don't want to run into them anytime soon.

AHHH, SOCKS ON THE NEEDLES!

 The new yarn is pleasant to work with--enjoy as soft as KnitPicks Stroll but not as rough as LionBrand's sock yarn.  I do love the colo...
