The official finished photo of the Patriot's Quilt.
36 x 48"
And the CoBoo Raglan is completed!
It is blocked and joy of joys, it fits!
It was a close call on the amount of yarn I calculated;
this is all that is left after seaming
and stitching all of those turned hems by hand.
It is weightier than a wool sweater
but the silky sheen of the bamboo makes it a perfect southern fiber!
As I was blocking it--note the photo bomber in the background!
Yup, the boys are in town!
We had a lovely time baking and then painting together.

  1. Fabulous finishes! Hav fun with the boys.

  2. Yikes, you won a close one at yarn chicken! Good to see the boys again. I know you enjoy your time together as much as they do.

  3. Gorgeous quilt and that sweater looks wonderful and comfy too. That was really close at yarn chicken.
    When I first saw the photo bomber I thought he was a photograph on your table! Have fun with them.

  4. Yay for finishes!! My knitting finish was just a small cowl, maybe I will make sweaters in 2020?

  5. I am trying hard to read posts and get caught up with all my buddies. Love the sweater, quilts and of course the photo bomber. That sweater is a gorgeous color. It is certainly chilly enough to wear it. Well done.

  6. The quilt is just lovely! Your yarn chicken experience gave me goosebumps. I'm still playing it with Soldotna and hating it. Having the boys must be fun. I can't wait to see my Grands on Thanksgiving.

We put the last screws in the second vegetable bed.   Today, Bill will give me a lesson on painting with the sprayer to get them painted so ...
