Close Your Eyes and Smile

I did a bit of knitting, well several hours after the boys left for home.
What a great time I had with them!
But now one sock in the Hermione pattern is finished.
This sock turned out differently than the last pair I made in this pattern
and it is because I must've goofed the first time.
I am getting used to this one but I really liked the first one better!
I will have to write that one down and try it on the next pair of socks! lol
We spent a LOT of time here....look at those precious faces!
"Watch, Grandma!"  "I'm watching, boys!"

  1. Awwww....it's so hard when they go isn't it? I feel like I've missed a lifetime with my Grands. That one little visit made me so sad for days.
That is a very pretty "almost" Hermoine. They used to be my go to pattern but I can't seem to keep the pattern straight anymore since sock knitting became my stress relief. It'll be plain vanilla for a while now I suppose by looking at the news.

  6. Beautiful deep red color in that sock yarn. And it looks great in that pattern.

  7. Love the sock and seeing the boys too. They look happy and I know you were. I can't wait to see my grandchildren again someday.
    Blessings,
