Calm for Bleeding Hearts

This is my calm place, looking toward the sunset here,
all of the lines of the Live Oak trees are distinct and graceful.
When I look out my window each morning, this is what I see...
the birdbath I painted and filled with a mosaic in the water bowl portion.
And as sentinels on each side, these flowering vines called bleeding hearts-the southern version.
Beauty and calm are attainable in my sphere, I will be grateful for both.

  2. Beauty and calm . . . what our world sorely needs right now. It is absolutely heartbreaking what is happening in Philadelphia right now.

  6. So important for humans to look at nature during these very uneasy times. I love your birdbath.

  7. Peace. It sounds so lovely. Our city is under curfew last night and tonight. I'm glad I'm not there right now. I think we're all craving peace. Thank you for the glimpse of your beautiful oasis.
    Blessings,
