Heads and Hands Covered!

The hat and mitten set is finished and ready for gifting!
I wish I had enough of the other yarns to make mittens
to match the already made hats!
I will add it to the JoAnn's list and hope they have the new yarn in stock!

The knob on the right of this funny hanging cactus will soon be a bloom, of sorts...
this is a life-saver cactus, so named because its flower looks like a
purple life-saver!
I will keep my eye over the next few days so I don't miss it !

  2. That was fast!! It's finally cooled off here a bit so it's possible once again to think of the need for some woolly comfort. What a scorcher of a summer. I don't know how you folks down south do it.

  4. Great job on the hat and mittens. I’m working on a pair of socks: they’ve been in my bag for a couple of months. It’s time to get them off of the needles. I hope you can find the yarn to make mittens for the other hats, too.

  5. Nice set! I'm working on another Pimpleisse shawl but I haven't had much time to knit. The last few days have been spent getting ready to move. Today is moving day!

  6. Lovely set! This was the stormiest trip we've had lately. A storm every afternoon, except the day we flew out and didn't even try to get on the beach! LOL. Too much cleaning to close up the condo. Now I am back in my sewing room and clueless as to what to do. LOL! Hope you are feeling better.
