I can't spread the table runner out for it's full glory because of that dratted puzzle! lol
I've done all of the fun parts and now there is only blues....
my eyes still blur when I try to study for the right piece!
See how nice it looks without the puzzle?! lolThis is part of the Table Scraps Challenge for February.
The first of the azalea blossoms are out and the bushes are covered with buds! How exciting.
See the bits of brown leaves? That is the damage from the freeze so we weren't sure how it would fare
but resilience is the byword of plants.
Proof that Spring is coming.
We are having a warm spell, warm enough for me to sit in the afternoon sun and talk with a friend-on the phone but still,
it was almost like having her in the chair next to me.
A perfect time.
Your pink runner turned out beautifully - so pretty! xx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty runner.
ReplyDeleteAt sub zero temps coming this week, I don't think I will even step foot outside! LOL. Lovely runner. I need to get quilting if I am going to have my runner done by the end of the month!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the pretty pink runner. I would pack the puzzle up. I don't enjoy them like so many others do. I think Dennis might though so we may have to find a place for him to work on puzzles after retirement.
ReplyDeleteWishing I could be sitting next to you knitting in the warm sunlight. We're not nearly as cold as a lot of people but our lows are pretty near zero. The RV floor is cold, even with a skirt on and an area rug in the living room. This time next week it's supposed to all be a memory and hopefully spring will be coming soon. I'm hopeful that this is old man winter's last gasp.
Blessings,
Betsy
Love the heart! I really want to start one, but I'm going to be good and wait until I finish at least one other project!
ReplyDeleteThe table runner is lovely! So is the azalea... we just have daffodil and tulip leaves peeking to report so far!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful runner! So pretty ... Azaleas already? Gosh! We are coming to the end of nine days and nights of sub zero temperatures and I have no idea how my plants, frozen solid in the earth, will fare when the thaw arrives.
ReplyDeleteThat's the perfect runner for February! Nice to see signs of spring there. We've still got many inches of snow left, so it'll be awhile.
ReplyDeletePretty pink for sure! I feel your pain about a puzzle on the table! We finally finished a large one with lots of dogs. Even added a leaf to the table and still had to eat in the living room for nearly two weeks! Isn’t this Table Runner Challenge fun?
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely table runner.
ReplyDeleteI like also the scrap border you added.
Totally charming runner !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful runner. Love your patchwork I hearts.
ReplyDeletePerfect February runner - pinks, hearts, and scraps. Love it.
ReplyDeleteJane
What a beautiful scrappy runner for the TABLE SCRAPS Challenge! Thanks for sharing the first azalea blossom of Spring, too.
ReplyDeleteIt's prefect! I need to get on a St Patrick's Day runner, but I have other ideas for this month's project.
ReplyDeleteNothing says spring like the first azalea blooms (and forsythia!)! Very pretty with the pink scrappy hearts.
