A Different Kinda Valentine

We drove by this small cemetery the other day and the heart shaped headstones caught my attention!
This woman was born the day before Valentine's Day so I can see the reason for her special stone.
This woman wasn't born or even died
near the date of February 14 but she must has been honored
by the symbol of her family's love of her.
Loved...

  1. How touching. We have memorial benches all along the boardwalk and the pier and the way the families decorate them for the holidays always breaks my heart. We had a teenage brother and sister killed in a car accident a while back and their grandmother comes and eats lunch on their bench quite often. I thought about one for my parents but the waiting list is years long now.

  2. Headstones can be amazing works of art.

There is a cemetery in Winter Park (FL) that has beautiful memorials and headstones. The Celtic Crosses always catch my attention.
