Front Yard

Yesterday we put together our anniversary arbor/trellis!
Today we will plant the bougainvillea on both sides of it!
I do like arches!
And this was the first swallowtail I have seen this year!
He is checking out the lantana.
The sun was shining through the magnificent magnolia tree....
Bill brought me this beautiful bloom....how nice it is to have a bouquet next to me as ...
I knit!

  1. Dad's nursing home had the most beautiful magnolia out in front and the receptionist was named Magnolia. You can't make that up. I used to roll him out front and knit by that beautiful tree. I can't see one now and not think of him.

  3. The arbor is beautiful! Can’t wait to see it swathed in flowers! The pure-whiteness of magnolias is breathtaking.

  5. That bloom is exquisite. So perfect and pure white. I've never seen a magnolia tree before. It sounds like you have a perfect place to knit and enjoy life.
    Blessings,

  6. The butterflies are starting to show up around here. So far I've seen a White Cabbage and a Red Admiral, our usual visitors for this time of year!

COLD FOR CHRISTMAS!

Yup, a cold snap already which I hate for my flowers' sakes  but the fire sure makes a good consolation!
