An Old Pattern

Remember the basket of ripped out sock blanket yarn (the Northeasterly)?
The yarn balls are all of doubled yarn and I wasn't going to try to separate them!
For a change, I pulled out this old pattern.
I am thoroughly enjoying the quilt-i-ness of this blanket!
I'm knitting with the doubled yarn and # 7 needles.
It has a page you can copy so you can  keep track of where you are
since you do not just knit this in rows!

  6. That is very cool . I have a cottage creation pattern , but I have to go check which one! I love how the squares are not required to be the same sizes!

  8. I never knew how it was knit, interesting way to approach it. I have often thought about doing a quilt block in knit fabric, but too busy now sewing them!
