To Pair a Pillow

The embroidery has become a pillow!
This covers a pillow that has become outdated in the fireplace room.
The second pillow will be made from this embroidery that was done yesterday.
The truck is stitched in the colors of our own 'lot truck' my kids drove
while growing up on our farm in NY.
A different color might have gone better in its new room but I needed the memory more!

  1. Aw, it does look like our good old truck! We did have fun with all of our hours out back! Pretty pillows.

  2. I love them. The writing on the first pillow is really pretty. And, who doesn't love a pick up full of flowers! That's a great way to remember your truck.

  3. They are a prefect pair! The truck story is so sweet. We had a old blue pick up too when the kids were little. I doubt they have any fond memories of it. For them it was our white Aerostar van that we took camping all the time. First new car I ever owned. Good times.
