I played a bit with some line and wash ;
 I like watching this guy on YouTube.
  This seemed like an easy intro
since it's been a while since I played with this style.
 This is a small, practice piece in preparation
for the full size one I will try today.
And instead of using a fine tipped marker,
 I wanted to use 'real' ink with a calligraphy pen.
  It was very fun to play with the new tool!
I hope I still feel so relaxed after trying it later!

  1. I marvel at your talent in so many areas!

  2. Nice!
    I have that pen set and could never figure it out. I'm either blopping the ink or scratching up the paper and getting no line. I really must be doing something wrong. I've even bought multiple types of nibs-no luck.

  3. Lovely. I wish I had more time to get back into my art

Thanks for taking the time to let me know you stopped by to read my blog! If you can't get the blog to accept a comment-email me! If you don't have a blog yourself, use my email so I can then email you back-I love to respond to those who leave comments! Thanks!

The first Helical striped sock is finished--the yarn is from Webs, their Valley Yarns Huntington in Arctic and Chocolate colors.  Perfection...
