Fer-De-Lance

A new pair of socks are on the needles!
This is one of WanteringCat's patterns which is written for top down socks.
It will be interesting to see how using the chart as written
instead of upending it for my toe-up socks!
I've accomplished one repeat so far!

I went to church yesterday--it has been so long since I was able to join in the singing
and sharing the sermon in real time-in person!
I can't even begin to share the joy I knew sitting among my church family.

Here's to a good week!

(No Inktober today-the prompt was dumb and uninspiring to me so I took a day off!)

  2. Happy to hear you were able to worship in person. I’ve been attending a spoken (no singing) service for a few weeks. I’m thrilled to be back in church but miss seeing everyone since the spoken service is sparsely attended.

  3. Those are gorgeous socks. My doctor still has not okayed me going to church in person so we watch to three churches services every Sunday. The one we were married in, Mandy's church in Omaha and our church here in Spokane. They are all sparsely attended.

  10. I’m glad you were able to return to church. We have been able to go to church since August but we are not allowed to sing. One person sings, they have to be five metres (15 feet) from everyone else! We are allowed to pray, even out loud, so I just talk the words of the songs, out loud!
