I'm sleeping most of the hours I should be awake...
If I am not sleeping, I wish I was.
Bill drove me in for another rapid test for Covid.
It came back negative.
The doctor still disagrees.
We drove over the the long line at the Dept of Health free testing site
and I was tested using the PCR test.
We learned today that the rapid test can be 30-50% INACCURATE!
What a discouraging number.
No wonder everyone has trouble believing the 'figures'
related to this pandemic!
Needless to say, I will get my results on Saturday
because of New Year's Day
being a bit of a skeleton staff.
It's time for another nap....Yawn!
Everyone that I know who has had Covid says you are so very tired all the time, no matter how much you sleep. You need to sleep. I can’t believe that they’re even still doing the rapid test or that it hasn’t been perfected by now. It’s pretty obvious that you have it since Bill was positive and you have all of the symptoms. Still, it would be good to know for certain. We ended up getting about 12 1/2 inches of snow. This morning it’s raining and snowing mixed. Take good care of yourself.

Listen to your body: it needs sleep and rest to fight the virus.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are still feeling so rubbish, sounds like sleep is the best thig for you at the moment. Wishing you a peaceful New Year, Jillxx
ReplyDeleteHubster tested negative and we're pretty sure he had it since he had all the same symptoms Diva had and she tested positive. Oh well, I really don't believe half of what they say anymore. Partly due to the media malpractice, and the fact the CDC can't keep it's story straight. Happy New Year! Hope you can rest as much as possible.
ReplyDeleteI did not realize the rapid test was that inaccurate! That's scary considering people use them to determine whether its safe to travel or see family!
ReplyDeleteThe tests sure are an issue. It's why so many get sick after family gatherings where they swear they were all negative. One doctor said you have to just pretend that everyone you contact is positive. It's the only way to stay safe.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better soon.
Hoping you'll be feeling better soon ... and that you can let your body do whatever it needs to :).
